MAKE IT suitable FOR every kid’s needs
Initial app idea was to enable admin users (parents or professionals) to create quizess with illustrations. App would contain ready-made illustrations that could be combained with user’s questions. Illustrations would describe different crisis situations like fire or flood. Since illustrations would be ready-made it would make it very difficult for the user to create new situations that would be personalised for a specific child and it’s educational needs.

ENABLE USER’s media
Instead of combaining ready-made illustrations with questions, users are given possibility of combaining questions with their own media. They can upload or create photos and videos that will be shown with questions inside the quizz. By enabling interaction with user’s media there is now opportunity inside application to create quizzes for all kinds of life situations that could be curated more precisely for each child and it’s own day-to-day challenges.

MULTIPLE PROFILE PLATFORM
Assignement was to create an app that would be used by kids and admins (parents or professionals) on the same device (mobile or tablet). Since the amount of kids that could use the device is not limited, question was how to constract the app to make it functional.
Solution was to apply patterns similar to streaming services with multiple profiles on one account. Main profile would have additional funcionalities of creating quizzes while other profiles can only browse through quizzes and play.

ENGAGING kids with rewards
Although app could be great asset for parents and professionals when teaching kids how to act in different life situations or learning about their ways of thinking, there is an assumption that the kids would probably get bored of it soon.
Every profile has it’s own avatar that can be choosen from the list. Some avatars are locked by default. By succesfully solving quizzes kids are rewarded with new unlocked avatars. Avatars are designed as animals in cartoon-looking style so that thay are more attractive for the kids.

accessibility features
Throughout the app legibility and contrast was given great amount of attention. Features like typography substituton and color settings change were embeded so that the app layout can adjust to needs of broader audience.

QUIZZ CONSTRUCTION
App’s “life” starts with creation of main (locked) profile intended for parents/professionals which contains additional functionalities of creating quizzes with questions (scenes from life) followed by picture or video. Media can be recorded or uploaded from mobile phone. Created and activeted quizzes appears in kids profiles from wich thay can start solving them. Because there is a high risk of questions with large amount of characters that can’t be reduced beacuse of their contextuale value media is always available in the upper part of screen  so that the kids can refer to it in any moment. After certian amount of solved quizzes kids are awarded with new unlocked avatars that they can use.
